Please read these advised steps for before and after your appointment.
- Manicure

- Avoid using any harsh chemicals or soaps after your manicure.
- Use a hand cream regularly to keep your hands moisturised and hydrated.
- Use a cuticle cream to help nourish the cuticles.
- Try to wear gloves if you do any activities that could cause chipping of the polish such as, gardening or washing the dishes.
- Pedicure

- Try to wear open toed shoes to your appointment.
- Use a cuticle cream to help nourish the cuticles.
- Exfoliate your feet weekly to keep the skin healthy and soft.
- Gel nails

- Avoid peeling the polish off yourself as it can damage the nail. Get them removed by a professional.
- Use a cuticle cream to help nourish the cuticles.
- Try to wear gloves if you do any activities that could cause chipping of the polish such as, gardening or washing the dishes.
- Spray tan precare

- Exfoliate at least 24 hours before your spray tan to remove dead skin cells and any old tan.
- If you need to shave, shave before getting a spray tan as shaving afterwards willremove tan.
- Avoid wearing makeup to your appointment (unless you aren’t wanting your face spray-tanned).
- Avoid wearing deodorant as it can mix with the tan and become a different colour.
- Wear loose clothing to your appointment.
- Get any other beauty service treatments done BEFORE you get your spray tan. Any waxing or tinting however would need to be done at least 24 hours before your spray tan.
- Spray tan aftercare

- When you wash your tan off the next day, rinse your body to wash off the tan, avoid using any body wash for this shower. You may continue use of body wash after the first shower.
- Moisturise daily to make your tan last as long as possible.
- Wear loose clothing.
- Avoid sweating until tan has been rinsed off.
- Avoid makeup, deodorants and perfumes until tan has been rinsed off.
- Be aware that your tan will get very dark and you may feel it is too dark but do not be alarmed as when you rinse it in the morning it will be a lot lighter. Washing off tan too early may leave you less tanned than you would like.
- Waxing precare

- Ensure hairs are long enough to be waxed.
- Waxing aftercare

- Moisturise daily to prevent irritation.
- Exfoliate the skin 2-3 times per week to avoid ingrown hairs.
- Avoid sweating for 48 hours after a waxing treatment.
- Avoid sunbeds/the sun on waxed areas for 48 hours after treatment.
- Avoid touching the waxed area for 48 hours after treatment.
- Avoid harsh soaps and acid based products on freshly waxed areas.
- Avoid saunas, public pools, hot spas for 48 hours after treatment.
- Avoid makeup for 24 hours after facial waxing.
- Lash lift precare

- Use LiLash daily for at least a month before your lash lift appointment so your lashes are nice and long.
- Lash lift aftercare

- Be gentle with your lashes, no rubbing.
- Don’t get your lashes wet for the next 24-48 hours.
- Avoid harsh products on the eyes and eyelashes.
- Avoid steam/sauna for the next 24-48 hours as it may weaken the lift.
- Avoid eye makeup for the next 24-48 hours.
- Tinting

- Avoid sunbathing for 24 hours after treatment.
- Avoid swimming, saunas and sunbeds for 24 hours.
- Avoid eye makeup on tinted lashes for the next 24-48 hours.
- Don’t get a spray tan for the next 24 hours.
- Avoid rubbing the tinted area.
- Keep tinted lashes dry for the next 24-48 hours.
- Use an oil free makeup remover on tinted areas as oil based remover can cause thetint to fade quicker.
- Facial

- Avoid makeup and other skincare products for at least 6 hours after your facial.
- Avoid picking at your skin and touching your face after your treatment.
- Avoid exfoliating your face for 48-72 hours.
- Keep using an SPF daily.
- Don’t use any new or active products tonight.
- Avoid using swimming pools, saunas, the gym and sunbeds after your treatment.
