Please be aware that by booking an appointment with us, you are agreeing to these policies.
- New Clients
- For all new clients we recommend a in-person consultation at least 72 hours prior to your appointment. This is
an opportunity for us to assess your hair and discuss your hair goals and is particularly relevant for those
needing colour correction. - New Client Consultations
- New Client consultations are a discussion about your hair goals. These consultations are complimentary and are
scheduled for 15 minutes. - Cancellation / Booking conditions
- By booking an appointment with Ra Hair and Beauty you are agreeing to our cancellation conditions, as set out
below:- Cancellations outside of 24 hours of your appointment – No charge
- Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment – 50% of appointment cost
- No shows – $80 non-refundable deposit required to secure further appointments.
Repeated no-shows may result in a non-refundable deposit of 100% of your service price to secure an appointment.
- Confirmations
- As a courtesy, we do make every effort to contact you through email and text message to confirm the date and
time of your appointment. Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates
and times to avoid missed appointments. You are always welcome to call, message or email to double check your
appointments if you’re unsure. - Late Policy
- We will always try our best to accommodate you if you’re running behind, stuck in traffic, etc.
Clients will generally be allowed a 5-10-minute grace period. After that time, we will call to check you are on
your way. If you are more than 10minutes late please note that we will do as much of the service as possible
within the allotted time but the service may well run over the allocated time.
Please, always call if you even think you might be late; we’d rather know as early as possible so we can do our
best to fit you in without upsetting the flow of the day, or reschedule to a more convenient time for us both.
These policies allow us the opportunity to ensure the smooth running of our business. We very much appreciate
your business and adherence with our policies. - Adjustment Policy
- We do not have to provide a refund in case of change-of-mind, or work which has not achieved the
desired result. We are hairdressers and beauty therapists, not magicians, and sometimes for a variety of
reasons, the end result isn’t perfect.We are happy to provide
an adjustment service to ensure that your end result is as close to perfect as it is possible to get.If you are unhappy with the result at the conclusion of your service, we encourage you to bring
this to the attention of management prior to leaving the salon. In any event, you have 48 hours to contact
the salon to receive a complimentary service to adjust any dissatisfaction.The service must be due to a mistake by your stylist or beauty therapist, and not because you
might have changed your mind after the service has been performed or if you have deviated from the
after-care instructions provided.It is important you contact the salon as soon as you are unhappy so we can schedule your
adjustment service as soon as possible. - Privacy Policy
- Ra Hair and Beauty is committed to protecting the information about you that we collect, store and
use when you provide it to us either in person or through online means.We manage your information in accordance with the requirements of the NZ Privacy Act 1993.
By accessing the Site, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal
information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. - Personal information collection and use

- Payment details (cash, card, buy now pay later service).

- For our internal administrative, marketing and planning requirements
- To compile and report statistics, with all the relevant personal and/or
proprietary information anonymised prior to the completion of such statistics - And for purposes that are expressly permitted under any agreement with you,
such as in the case of using a photograph of you to advertise our work.

- We do not disclose personal information about you publicly or to third parties unless it is
authorised or required by law, or as otherwise outlined in this Privacy Policy.Your personal information will never be sold to any third party.
Personal information that we collect from you will be stored in secure systems.

- The Site includes social media features, such as Facebook and Instagram. These features may
collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our Site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature
to function properly. Social media features and widgets are hosted by a third parties and your interactions
